Yahoo News: Your Guide to News App Reviews

*****NSFW****NSFW****NSFW**** **SOME OF THE POP-UPS ARE PORN SITES** Yahoo is all about ad revenue with this piece of s**t app. Garbage....Garbage....Garbage. You cant get through a story without ads popping up everywhere. I was on an airplane the other day and a huge porn ad took over my entire screen showing a girl getting screwed. I have never ever used my iPad to look at porn sites, yet this ad pops up?? Embarrassing!! IT IS OBVIOUS THE PEOPLE GIVING THIS APP 5-STAR REVIEWS ARE YAHOO EMPLOYEES!! Stay away from this "news" app. What stories are there are incomplete and poorly written. 90% of the "stories" are actually sponsored revenue sites. HOW DID THIS TRASH APP PASS APPLE REVIEW??

Yahoo has been a great app. Yahoo has never failed me and very friendly user. I give it a 10+

For the past few weeks the app randomly is taken over by a pop up saying youve won a prize, spawns a Safari browser and shows a fake Fbook page. I deleted the app.

Layout is clean. Can swipe to the next topic area. Works for me.

I like Yahoo for news and this app makes access easy. It places ads in the stream but it is not intrusive. I like it. They have improved the performance.

This is my first place to go when looking for news. The car section and the all stories section are my favorite.

Unfortunately, when using the app, it often shows articles ten or more days old, even after refreshing. Pls fix it so you can read updated articles.

The app is terrible. You cant even read every article that is posted.

The app itself is good the design is simple and practical however my problem is with the content it seems the news arent updating as soon as they should be and

Yahoo news app gives me latest news in a timely fashion. I live the presentation and the news topics.

I have been using yahoo news for months. Like it more than google news. Only issue I have is the system only gives a short piece not the whole news story. If you want to read the whole story, you have to hit more to go to a new tab. It is more of a pain.....

Among the many things I like, my faves are the variety and always-first-on-the-scene news style; also grateful for the informative health & Answers sections. Get your edge back, Yahoo, by focusing on your strength: news & health tips. Oh btw, rebuild and streamline Messengers when you have time. Cant just let all the newbies/wannabes bully you like that!
